Jeffrey Lipton, a Philadelphia native, studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and received a  Bachelor of Fine Art's degree (BFA) from the University of Arts in Philadelphia. Enthralled by the ethereal quality of nature, he uses light to create motion and mystery. Throughout his career as an artist and architect, he realized that light contributes to ever changing and random play of space that has the ability to question your perception and evoke feeling.
